Dona Francisquinha is a powerful indigenous midwife and healer from the Shawadawa ethnicity, part of the Arara people, located in the Juruá Valley in Acre. She is the daughter of the shaman Naytãnã and the healer and midwife Rôapay. From a young age, she was initiated into the profound wisdom of her culture, becoming an heir to the sacred knowledge of the Amazon rainforest.
Today has 11 children, and she is a grandmother of 35 grandchildren, and great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren.
